Our Mandate

Founded in 1984, the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association (CRFA) works to promote and advance the use of renewable fuels for transportation – to protect our environment by reducing harmful emissions and to grow our economy by creating the good, green-energy jobs of the future.

CRFA members and supporting organizations provide Canadians with renewable, clean-burning Ethanol and Biodiesel – fuels that help fight climate change and combat pollution and smog.  At the same time, they are working to develop the next generation of Biofuels, which will provide even greater environmental and economic benefits.

Our Message

Ethanol and Biodiesel are the only viable alternative to conventional fossil fuels.  They are clean and green and a locally produced Canadian fuel.  Renewable fuel production in Canada helps strengthen our economy and protect the air we breathe.
